Lauren Ong studied in Raffles Girls School before graduating with a LL.B (Hons) degree from the National University of Singapore in 1982. She was called to the Singapore Bar in 1983 whereupon she commenced legal practice with Boey Ng & Wan for 9 years before joining the present firm as a Partner.
Lauren has vast experience working and relating with clients from varied backgrounds, ranging from individuals in personal and family settings to those in corporations and institutions. She acts for corporate clients in diverse industries such as construction and property development, industrial equipment and supplies, food production, engineering, hardware and machinery, petrochemicals, pharmaceutical, financial services, consumer products and local SMEs. She has also acted successfully in several collective sales of private developments.
Lauren assisted to establish Care Community Services Society in 1996, a charitable organisation serving the local community in a myriad of ways, and on which she serves on the board in various capacities from inception. She also serves as Legal Advisor to the Ong Clansmen General Association. She has also offered legal counselling services with SAFRA
Lauren is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.
Lauren loves to read and write, and for physical exercises she hikes and cycles. She enjoys light conversations and sharing over meals with friends and family members.
