Chee Kiong is a partner of Seah Ong & Partners LLP.
Chee Kiong was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of Singapore in 1997. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1996 before joining the firm as a Legal Assistant. In 2015, Chee Kiong was made an equity partner of the firm.
Chee Kiong is the principal litigator in the firm, with experience in all levels of litigation before the Courts of Singapore. His expertise also extends to the Strata Titles and Land Acquisitions Boards, before whom he appeared as Lead Counsel at a hearing for the successful collective sale of One Balmoral.
Chee Kiong has advised and represented a wide array of clients including various insurance companies, multinational corporations (MNCs), small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as well as individuals in both courtroom disputes and arbitrations.
Chee Kiong heads the firm’s Arbitration, Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice with a focus on Insurance Litigation. He acts primarily to represent insured individuals and companies in claims for personal injuries and property damage arising from road traffic accidents. His versatility also sees him acting and advising clients in contentious and non-contentious matrimonial separations, corporate and contractual claims, probate, employment, construction, workmen’s compensation and criminal defence matters.
